Cocktail dress code
A cocktail party combines modern ease with formal style. The basis: a well-tailored suit in navy or bright blue, in summer also in linen, combined with a classic shirt and leather shoes. Bright colors, sneakers or jeans are out of place instead.

Black tie dress code
If the invitation says "Black Tie", formal elegance is required. A tuxedo with a white shirt, concealed button placket and double cuffs is mandatory. A silk bowtie, patent leather shoes and a simple watch complete the look - colorful ties or open shirt buttons are absolute no-goes.
Dress code Creative Black Tie
The "Creative Black Tie" dress code allows you to play a little with traditional etiquette without losing the formal elegance. A classic tuxedo remains the basic building block here too, but creativity is allowed in the choice of shirt, bow tie and accessories.
White tie dress code
If the invitation says "White Tie", the highest form of elegance is required. The dress code calls for a classic tailcoat - with a long tailcoat jacket that tapers at the back and a white tuxedo shirt with a stand-up collar. A white silk bow tie, which is inseparable from this look, and a white vest peeking out from under the tailcoat jacket are also required. Black patent leather shoes and white gloves are also part of the look, while a simple watch should be worn as the only accessory.
