Technical materials in sartorial processing
The real story of Moorer begins in 1999, when Moreno Faccincani, after successfully completing his training in the family business, launches his first outdoor collection for women under the name FEYEM. In 2006, the Moorer collection is expanded to include down jackets for men. Moorer combines high-quality, technical materials such as satin stretch or waterproof tech flannel with a loving interior finish. All buttons, closures and fillings are carefully selected and processed. With stylish sartorial workmanship, the label focuses on Made in Italy, which has also been certified by the Italian Chamber of Commerce. Unusual combinations such as outer fabrics made of cashmere and suede for down jackets make the jackets from Moorer so special.
Warmth categories for the optimal use of a jacket
All jackets are divided into different warmth categories at Moorer. While category A stands for the lightest thermal insulation, a down jacket of category E is suitable for temperatures down to -60°C. Different qualities of down in combination with the outer material of a jacket provide for the different thermal insulations. The affiliation to one of these categories is indicated at Moorer on the label of a garment. In addition, for each garment there is a small booklet with the characteristics, origin, type and composition of the down. The goose down is injected directly into the cassettes. This process is of particularly high quality and is otherwise only used for light down. All the furs used, such as arctic fox, come from Sagafurs, a company that stands for reputable, certified breeding.
