The most important thing is a perfectly fitting dirndl made of high-quality fabric - one that ideally suits the wearer in terms of color and design. A matching blouse is also part of the basic outfit: it can be used to create a romantic, playful or elegant look.
In traditional costume, trends usually come in subtle nuances. For 2025, we see dirndls with longer skirt lengths. The fabrics remain traditional and high-quality: linen, cotton, velvet and silk dominate the aprons. In terms of color, monochrome, calm and subtly patterned designs will prevail. The color palette is based on the latest fashion trends - from bold shades such as bordeaux, chocolate brown and dark blue to soft smoky blue and sage. There is still a wide variety of blouses: classic white cotton, but also colored lace.
In 2025, the LODENFREY Oktoberfest dirndl continues to impress with its elegant and fashionably understated simplicity. The velvet or linen bodices are reinforced with boning and have a discreet hook fastening for a perfect fit. The skirts made of finely ornamented cotton fabrics are available in lengths of 70 or 80 centimeters and are made exclusively for us.

Traditional knitwear & jackets: They should be color-coordinated, short and tailored. Cardigans made of cashmere, Janker in combination with wool. The hand-knitted unique pieces from the Wolkenstricker studio are particularly charming - with a textured pattern and horn or metal buttons.
Dirndl blouses : The same applies to blouses: quality and cut make the difference - they give the dirndl its individual expression.
Accessories: When it comes to jewelry, the motto is: less is more. A purposeful statement piece is often enough. The matching bag should be practical but stylish.
Trachten shoes : And of course: shoes! Pumps are a classic choice, but current trends such as ballerinas, loafers or slingbacks can also be stylishly combined with dirndls. We have exclusive shoes made in Italy at LODENFREY to match the colors of the current dirndl collection.
