In Lüdenscheid, where metal production can look back on a history of over 2000 years, the Schmiedewarenfabrik Deumer was founded in 1863. In 1905 Wilhelm Conze took over the company. Influenced by the elegance and Edwardian style of England, he modernises the factory building, invests in craft training and introduces the production of accessories for men to the company. His ambition is to create a small collection of cufflinks, money clips and tie pins every year in order to spread this new style in Germany. In the following decades Deumer always commemorates important events and epochs of the time with its collections, such as the Bauhaus or the blue ribbon, an award in seafaring for the fastest passenger ship. Since 1996, Deumer has also been creating and producing the Porsche lid crest. To this day, Deumer designs unique cufflinks, money clips and accessories of exceptionally high quality.
