Exclusive knitted fabric made of finest Pima cotton
The Pima cotton used at Stefan Brandt is characterised by its softness, silky sheen and pleasant feel. The cotton is harvested by hand, which prevents mechanical damage and discoloration of the fiber. The in-house production in Ecuador convinces with manual gentle processes that maintain the shape stability and quality of the cotton fibres and thus create a crease-resistant knitted fabric that remains highly elastic even after several washings. With the help of the so-called PREFIT treatment, pollutants and colour pigments are dissolved from the cotton fibres using water, steam and heat, without resorting to chemical ingredients. All substances that could react with body perspiration are broken down in the process, ensuring that a T-shirt remains fresh even after being worn several times. This unique treatment, in combination with Ökotex dyes, produces garments that are even suitable for allergy sufferers and sensitive baby skin.
